Trim your candle to 1/4″ before the first lighting to ensure maximum release of the fragrance and a steady sized flame with minimal sooting. Use long matches or long handled lighter to light candle.
Trim your wick to 1/4″ each time the candle is to be relit. This keeps candle from smoking and burning the side of the glass.
Remember to keep wax pool free of wax trimming, matches and debris.
Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time to prevent wick mushrooming (carbon buildup) which can cause issues such as sooting, and a unstable wick that will start to lean over from the weight of the carbon buildup.
Conversely, we suggest that you not burn candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Always extinguish with a snuffer, do not blow out flames.
After a 4 hour burn, wait approximately 1 hour before trimming and relighting candle. This allows your candle to cool properly.
Burn your candle on a sturdy table. Do not burn your candle near other burning candles or hot objects to prevent overheating and cracking of glass.
Most importantly, never leave a lit candle unattended, always burn within site and keep out of reach of children and pets! 
To extend the life of your candle, place lid on top and put away when not in use.
Be sure to allow your candle wax to cool and solidify before moving.
